1. How do I reserve an item?
To reserve the equipment you can either call our office at 408-733-8844 or send us a rental request via our website.
2. How far in advance do I need to reserve equipment?
As soon as you know what equipment you need, you’ll want to contact us immediately. Equipment is reserved on a first come, first served basis.
3. When/Where do I pickup and return my rentals?
For weekend rental dates, equipment must be picked up by end of business on the Friday preceding, and must be returned by 1:00pm on the following Monday. For all midweek events, rentals may be picked up the day before or the day of the event, and returned the day of the event or the day after. Weekday office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm and the offices are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Our business is located at 683 East Brokaw Road, San Jose, CA 95112.
4. Do you deliver and pickup equipment?
Yes we do. Delivery and pickup is available in our Delivery | Service page. We can also provide a technician to setup and operate the equipment if needed. Please call for an estimate.
5. Is there a deposit required and how much is it?
No, but a valid credit card is required for every rental, regardless of any method it is paid for. Your credit card is also needed to reserve the equipment in advance.
6. Can I pay by check?
We currently do not accept checks. Payments are processed through an online payment system by card only. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.
7. What if the equipment I need is not listed?
We are always working to have the latest and greatest in rentals, and sometimes our website department has a little lag in putting it up on our website. Just give us a call or contact us with your rental needs via our website.
8. What if I need to change or cancel my order?
A credit card is needed to reserve any equipment in advance. Should you cancel or change your rental order less than 72 hours prior to pickup or delivery, you will lose all or a portion of your entire rental balance.
9. What if the item I rented doesn’t work or if I’m having trouble with it?
All equipment is tested constantly, and when it is picked up or delivered to you, it should operate normally. We find that in most cases problems are the result of user error, and so for each rental we will explain how to operate each major feature that could affect its operation and durability. If this is not the case, we will investigate the problem, and if it is determined that we rented you a faulty piece of equipment, you will be reimbursed for the entire amount of the rental.
10. What happens if I accidentally damage an item?
If any equipment is damaged, we will notify you within 72 hours of pick up or return of the equipment. After that, we will have a repair estimate written up to show you the cost of damages and you will be responsible for the charges.
